Proteus is Aureum's spectrum-intelligence platform: a distributed set of RF sensors that self-organize into a cognitive mesh and build a continuously updated picture of the electromagnetic environment — with no central collector and no single point of failure.
At its core is signal fingerprinting. Proteus characterizes emissions by their distinctive signal features and associates them over time and across sensors, resolving fleeting observations into persistent emitter identities — the same entity-resolution discipline behind Aureum's Verity platform, applied to the RF domain. The result is not a raw list of detections, but a tracked, deduplicated picture of who is emitting, from where, and how their behavior is changing.
A decentralized cognitive layer — generalized from the forecasting technology in Verity — runs on each node with negligible added compute, letting the mesh anticipate how the spectrum will evolve and re-task itself around emerging conditions before they degrade, rather than merely reacting to them.
