Verity

Supply-chain physical risk at daily resolution, resolved to the facility and the company that operates it.

Most supply-chain risk is reviewed quarterly, at the level of a supplier name. Physical events move in days and land on a specific stretch of river, a pipeline delivery point, a plant. Verity works at that resolution.

What it does

Collection and resolution

Public signals are collected at their native cadence, from every 15 minutes to daily, and normalized across formats, units, datums, and languages. Each is resolved in time, in place, and to the operating entity. As of 8 October 2026, Verity has 37 registered sources, 31 active and 20 contributing to its risk views.

Vessel movement

Verity ingests live AIS positions around roughly 2,950 ports and derives berth-level port calls. It tracks when a vessel stops transmitting against that vessel's own history. It ingests no shipment-level data: no bills of lading, customs or manifest records, and no carrier routing.

Facility exposure

River reaches, pipeline points, and sites are joined to the facilities standing on them, and each dependency is typed: navigation, cooling water, inbound bulk, hydropower.

Corporate structure

Each facility is resolved to its operating legal entity and connected through ownership and operational dependencies. Your data extends and weights this graph.

Entity resolution

Verity resolves company names against the GLEIF register and SEC filings, accepting only high-similarity matches automatically and holding the rest for review rather than guessing. Where a match class has been found unreliable, those edges are retired rather than left in place.

Forecasting

Verity forecasts companies' news-tone trajectories at 7, 14 and 30 days, as calibrated ranges rather than single numbers. Each company has its own model, trained on its own history.

Cascade simulation

Stochastic trials run across operational dependency edges, weakening with distance. Each run reports a relative propagated-risk index and the share of trials with material impact. Run on a forecast, the result shows who would be reached if that forecast is realized.

How Verity scores risk

Verity does not reduce a company to a single number. It shows six risk pillars, each carrying its own band, plus an overall band. The six are logistics, courts, environment, financial, news and sanctions. A band is computed from the events and listings Verity has collected for that company, using each source's own published severity rather than a model's opinion. Every band opens a trace: why that severity, which events contributed, when, from which source, and how the company was matched to each one.

What a pilot needs

A supplier list with names and locations is enough to start. As trust builds, more of your records sharpen the picture:

  1. Supplier list
  2. Site and plant register
  3. Spend or purchase-order volume
  4. Contracts, sole-source flags, lead times
  5. Invoice history
  6. Shipment and logistics records
